This year, we've expanded the celebration to include all Great Lakes friends, ensuring everyone who has been part of our journey feels welcome. Join us for the Homecoming Banquet on Saturday, with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starting at 6:00 p.m. This special evening is open to both alumni and friends of GL, offering a chance to reconnect, celebrate, and honor this year's Alumna of the Year. Don't miss out on this memorable event!

Badminton and Pickleball Tournaments
We're shaking things up this year with exciting badminton and pickleball tournaments on Friday night! Not into playing? No worries! We still want you there to cheer on your classmates and soak in the fun.
And for those eager to keep the energy going, we’ll have an open gym after the tournaments where you can jump into some friendly games with your friends. Don’t miss out—it’s going to be a night to remember!
Class Reunions
Class Reunions are always a standout highlight of the weekend, bringing together old friends and sparking new memories. While many reunions happen on Saturday afternoon, some classes plan their gatherings throughout the entire weekend. If your class is planning a get-together, we want to help spread the word! Alumna of the Year
Martha (May) Wells
Class of 1957
For over four decades, from 1958 to 1994, Martha May's name became inseparable from Great Lakes. Her journey with the school began as a student, enrolling in GLCC’s second year of operation and studying from 1953 to 1958. Afterward, she wore many hats—from teaching the commercial course and typing to serving as the secretary to the President.
Martha's dedication didn’t stop there. She was instrumental in shaping the school’s future, from co-founding the Alumni Association to serving as a charter member and executive leader of the WAVES for 18 years.
To recognize her unwavering commitment and countless contributions to both the school and her faith, we are proud to honor Martha (May) Wells as this year’s Alumnus of the Year at our Homecoming Banquet. We invite you to join us in celebrating Martha's legacy and help us show our appreciation for all she has done. Don’t miss this special evening!
